Dr. Li Li’an, born in 1961, now is the director of the Buddhism Research Institute, professor of World Religions and cultures, Ph.D. Supervisor at Northwest University and aCPPCC member of Xi’an, Shaanxi. He received his Bachelor, Master and Ph.D. of history from Northwest University. He is mainly engaged in the teaching and studies of the history and ideology of Buddhism, and is the author of many distinguished publications in the field of Chinese Buddhism.

The world religions & cultures; the history of Religious communication between China and Foreign countries; Buddhism history and culture.
